JARO ensures swimming carnivals are operated and managed efficiently, all while maintaining athlete and community engagement.
JARO helps in the preparation of the swimming carnival:
1 Reminders
Push notifications and/or emails are sent to athletes and registered members to remind them of upcoming events which are relevant to their preference and history. JARO can also outline how many athletes have viewed the reminder and how many athletes re-registered using the reminder.
2 Events, athlete records and seeding
JARO provides a concierge service for data entry, meaning all carnival events and athlete details are uploaded for you. If desired, JARO can seed the athletes in accordance with the FINA (qualifying data must be provided).
3 Sport centric portal
Create a sport centric web presence where the swimming community can communicate and compare past results in a centralised location. A social hub can be built into this where athletes, members and fans can follow specific athletes, disciplines and sub-disciplines to access information such as; live results, updates, records, photographs and other customised data.
JARO helps during the carnival:
1 Electronic check in
Mobile app: Athletes that are pre-registered in an event can confirm their attendance and/or scratch themselves from events either through the club or school’s customised mobile app.
OR
Desktop: Administrators check in students and can conduct registrations and scratching throughout the day via their desktop.
2 Electronic scoring
Results are automatically recorded within your web dashboard (JARO can integrate with softwares such as meet manager and is currently exploring touch pad integration). Results can also be captured on your mobile device to stop the double handling of information.
3 Live results
No more waiting for paper results to be printed and displayed, swimmers, parents, members and fans can find them all on your club or school’s customised app.
